WIZZ AIR-LONDON GATWICK AIRPORT -1

Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest-growing and most sustainable airline globally, is expanding its presence in the United Kingdom with the launch of two new flights from London Gatwick Airport.

Due to high demand, additional routes to Prague in Czechia and Hurghada in Egypt will be opened on October 31.

More travelers than ever before will be able to visit Czechia’s historical capital. Prague is known as “the City of a Hundred Spires” because of its spectacular historical architecture. It is also known for its gothic churches, medieval astronomical clock, and vibrant nightlife. Six flights each week will depart from London Gatwick, with prices beginning at £21.99.

Meanwhile, in Hurghada, daring sunbathers may try their hand at scuba diving before resting on the long stretch of sandy beach or explore some of the typical Egyptian coffee shops and souks. Passengers may fly on three weekly flights from London Gatwick, with prices starting at £48.99.

The news indicates that the ultra-low-cost airline in the United Kingdom is doing well. Wizz Air now operates 116 flights in 30 countries from London. The additional lines will bring over 220,000 yearly seats to and from the UK capital.

“We are seeing increased demand for more flights to popular holiday destinations and we are delighted to be able to offer greater, more flexible access to these breathtaking cities,” said Marion Geoffroy, Managing Director of Wizz Air UK. With these two new Gatwick routes, we now have more seats than ever for travellers traveling to and from London at an accessible price. We can’t wait for these flights to take off in October.”
