Passengers will be able to experience ultra-fast Wi-Fi rates of up to 350 Megabits per second once the service is activated, which can be utilized for a number of internet-based activities such as video streaming their favorite entertainment and sports videos, gaming, improved web-browsing, and much more.
Qatar Airways, the world’s premier 5-star airline, continues committed to providing the finest passenger experience aboard, and the collaboration with Starlink will provide customers with a rich seamless Wi-Fi connectivity experience onboard with a simple one-click access. The high-speed, low-latency network is powered by SpaceX’s groundbreaking Starlink satellite communications system, the world’s biggest satellite internet constellation. Qatar Airways and Starlink are now in the pre-launch phase of the Qatar Airways fleet rollout strategy.
