SWISS will expand its short-haul route network further in its summer plans for 2024. Service between Zurich and Bremen will also be added this summer.
In the summer schedule period, Oslo will be added to the Geneva-based network, as will the existing Geneva destinations of Copenhagen and Stockholm.
SWISS’ summer schedules for 2024 will provide an even broader selection of short-haul destinations. “We are delighted to be expanding our portfolio of European destinations in order to provide our customers with an even broader range of air travel options,” says SWISS Chief Commercial Officer Tamur Goudarzi Pour. “And in doing so, we’re underlining our commitment at SWISS to offering both top-notch services and extensive travel choice.”
Bremen, which currently has winter SWISS service from Zurich, will now have this service extended into the summer schedule. The city in northern Germany has an Old Town and historic sites like as the Roland Statue and its renowned Town Musicians, as well as a thriving arts and entertainment scene. Bremen is a particularly enticing tourist destination, with its attractive location on the River Weser and abundant shopping and eating possibilities.
Cluj-Napoca and Koice, as previously stated, will also join the SWISS short-haul network in summer 2024. In addition, new frequencies will be provided between Zurich and current European destinations such as Alicante, Madrid, Naples, Venice, and Vilnius.
New Geneva-Oslo service
Next summer, Oslo will be joined to SWISS’s Geneva network. The Norwegian city entices visitors with a winning combination of modern architecture, verdant parks, and cultural landmarks such as the iconic Opera House. The city is also appealingly near to nature, with fjords, woods, and more, and it has a vibrant food scene.
SWISS will also launch additional summer trips between Geneva and Copenhagen and Geneva and Stockholm. Stockholm has a magnificent location sprawled across 14 islands, well-preserved royal palaces, and old Old Town alleyways, while Copenhagen impresses with its amazing blend of modern Scandinavian design, historic architecture, and peaceful waterside environment. In the summer schedules of 2024, SWISS passengers will be able to fly more often between Geneva and the existing destinations of Athens, Brindisi, Brussels, Catania, Malaga, Palma, and Valencia.
