Icelandair has announced a new destination, Innsbruck, Austria, with weekly flights between January 27 and March 2, 2024.
Innsbruck, Austria’s fifth biggest city, is located in the Alps and surrounded by some of the world’s top ski resorts. It has long been a renowned winter sports destination.

The city joins Munich, Salzburg, Zurich, Verona, Oslo, and Vancouver as the newest addition to Icelandair’s winter sport destinations.

Icelandair Chief Revenue Officer Tomas Ingason:

“We are delighted to announce the addition of Innsbruck to our extensive route network.” The city is bordered by some of the top ski resorts in the world and is a renowned winter sports destination. Because of the airport’s excellent position in the Alps, wintertime slots are limited, therefore we are delighted to be able to include the city in our extensive winter sport offering.
